Watch the Pittsburgh Steelers for Free

Watch on Yahoo! Sports
Yahoo! Sports has an arrangement with the NFL to let you watch live football games on the Yahoo! Sports apps for smartphones and tablets. The app uses your device’s location services to limit your viewing to your local team as well as games broadcast on the over-the-air networks. However, you’ll also get playoff games and the Super Bowl.
Watch on Amazon Prime Video
If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, then you’ll have access to a few live streams of NFL games throughout the season. Starting in late September, Amazon Prime Video will stream its own broadcast of Thursday Night Football. That means you’ll be able to use your Prime account to watch the game against Cleveland in November.
Use an OTA Antenna
In the modern streaming age, people forget that CBS, Fox and NBC all broadcast their content using good, old-fashioned TV signals. An inexpensive HDTV antenna like the Mohu Leaf could be all you need to get the game on your big-screen TV. However, you can go a step further by getting a digital TV tuner. This will convert the broadcast signal to a digital stream on your home network.

Watch the NFL App
With some restrictions, the National Football League’s app lets you watch local games and games networks broadcast at primetime. You also get on-demand highlight videos, drive charts and other features that enhance your football experience.
The NFL app is free to use, but getting access to some features may require you to sign in with your TV provider’s login credentials. For example, if your pay-TV provider includes the NFL Network and NFL RedZone, then you’ll be able to stream that content as well.
If you subscribe to NFL Game Pass, you can access all of that content through the NFL app. Although you don’t get access to live games, you do get full replays of every NFL game as soon as each game ends. The annual fee is $100.
You’ll find the NFL app available for the following devices:
- Living room devices: Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV and Roku.
- Smart TVs and Blu-ray players: Televisions based on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, or Roku
- Mobile devices and tablets: Android and iOS.
- Game consoles: PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
- Desktop browsers: Any modern browser.
However, you can only watch one game at a time. In addition, the mobile version of the NFL App won’t let you use AirPlay or Chromecast to send a live game’s stream to another device.
