How long is Apple TV+’s free trial?
Source: Apple TV+
The answer to this question is actually a bit tricky. Apple TV+ offers a standard 7-day free trial to new subscribers, so anyone interested in the platform has a week to check it out for themselves.
However, Apple also offers a 30-day free trial of its Apple One bundle. So, if you bundle Apple TV+ with Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and iCloud+ you’ll get one month of all of the above mentioned services for free.
Also, if you purchase a new Apple device, Apple TV+ is included for free for the first 3 months (terms and conditions apply). So depending on how you sign up for Apple TV+’s free trial, you can get anywhere from 7 to 90 days of access to the platform.

What devices support Apple TV+?
Apple TV+ is available on most devices but, unsurprisingly, doesn’t offer much support for Android devices:
- TV streaming media players: Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV or Fire TV Stick, and Roku
- Smart TVs: Samsung Smart TV, Roku TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, LG Smart TV, Sony, VIZIO, Panasonic, and Hisense
- Mobile devices and tablets: iOS phones, iPads, iPod Touch
- Game consoles: Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox One X | S
- Desktop browsers: Most common Mac and Windows browsers, such as Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Chrome OS, and Android devices (browser only)

How does Apple TV+’s free trial compare?
Apple TV+’s standard free trial is just that—standard. Most streamers, including Fubo, Philo, and Shudder, offer 7-day free trials to new customers. However, when you compare 3 free months of Apple TV+ with the purchase of an Apple device to other streamers’ free trials, Apple TV+ far outweighs the competition.

What Apple TV+ lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality. With only a few hundred titles in its library, Apple reports having earned 371 wins and over 1,544 award nominations for its Apple Originals, including multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy, Ted Lasso, and Oscar Best Picture winner, CODA. You can catch all sorts of star-studded shows with Apple TV+, including Indris Elba’s Hijack and Lakeith Stanfield’s The Changeling.
Not sure if the library has anything you like? Apple TV+ is constantly adding new content to its library, so you’ll always have something new to look out for. You can learn more about Apple TV+’s content library offerings here.
