Because there is no point spread to handicap the teams to account for differences in quality, the odds on either team will vary more drastically based on how big of a competitive mismatch oddsmakers believe the game is. Below is an example of a Tar Heels moneyline:

The +/- indicate the favorite and the underdog, similar to with the point spread. In this case the Tar Heels would be considered the favorite to win the game at -275 and the Eagles would be the underdog at +220. The total, or over/under (o/u), is a type of bet that is based around the total number of points scored in the game by both teams combined. Below is an example of a total bet in a North Carolina game:
