Watch Marvel Movies and TV Shows on Disney Plus

Disney+ officially launched in the US and elsewhere on November 12. As of its official launch, Disney+ offers original Marvel movies and TV shows, as well as several upcoming Marvel TV shows and movies that will only be available on the Disney+ platform.
Disney+ Pricing and Packages
Disney Plus is available through 2 different subscription packages:
Disney+ Bundle $13.99/ Year | ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+. Bundle and save 25%. Amazing value for the whole family. 3 simultaneous streams | SIGN UP |
Disney+ Standalone $7.99/ month | 7,000+ TV episodes 500+ films Disney+ Originals 3 simultaneous streams | SIGN UP |
Disney+ Bundle (No Ads) $19.90/ month | Watch ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+. Bundle and save 25%. Amazing value for the whole family. 3 simultaneous streams | SIGN UP |
Those who know they’ll use Disney+ all year long can get a discount off of two months of service. The yearly subscription requires a one-time payment, which can be set to renew the next year. The monthly subscription is great if you plan to suspend or cancel your account later, or need the freedom to do so.
You can also get Disney+, Hulu (on-demand) and ESPN+ as part of a combo package for $14.99 per month.
Disney+ Marvel Movies and TV Shows
Some subscribers may be surprised to find that Disney+ does not feature every Marvel Comics Universe movie. Due to pre-existing licensing agreements with other streaming services (chiefly Netflix), Disney+ only had 8 out of 23 MCU movies at launch, which included:
- Iron Man 2
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier
- Thor: Ragnarok
- Black Panther
- Avengers: Infinity War
- Ant-Man and the Wasp
- Avengers: Endgame
The remaining MCU movies have been migrating back to Disney+, although some will reportedly go back to Netflix due to those aforementioned licensing agreements.
Positively, Disney+ is still worth the sign-up, as the service will be the home of several Marvel original TV shows, to include:
- Marvel Studios: What If…?
- Marvel’s Hero Project
- WandaVision
- The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Disney+ will also be the new home for other Marvel properties Disney now owns, including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the 1990s X-Men cartoon series, among several others.
