Sling TV DVR
You’ll get a 10-hour cloud DVR with Sling TV Orange. If you need more storage, the service offers a $5 per month add-on that gives you 50 hours of cloud DVR storage.

Sling TV On-Demand Library
The exact size of Sling TV’s on-demand library is not stated anywhere, but it’s extensive. Almost every channel in the package offers on-demand content from new and older TV shows and movies, including newly-released content. And with AMC+, you’ll get access to all of the on-demand libraries that those included networks offer.
Your Sling TV account information can also be used to access TV Everywhere websites and apps for individual channels, where additional content may exist. Your Sling TV account information should also allow you to log into the separate apps for AMC Premiere, IFC Films Unlimited, Shudder, and Sundance Now, as well as the AMC Premiere website.

What is AMC+?
AMC+ is a new streaming service from AMC that offers content and access to a collection of other streaming services. The full list of channels/networks’ content you have access to under AMC+ include:
- AMC Premiere
- BBC America
- IFC
- SundanceTV
- Shudder
- Sundance Now
- IFC Films Unlimited
Alongside the somewhat obvious benefit of having access to content from all of these channels, AMC+ also offers early premiere access to select content. As an added bonus, all of the content you’ll get through AMC+ is completely ad-free.
Is AMC+ Available Anywhere Else?
Although AMC+ is technically a standalone service, it’s only available through third parties apps. You can also add it as a channel to the following services:
- Amazon Prime Video Channels
- Apple TV
- The Roku Channel
Log into your separate account for these services and add AMC+ the same way you would other channels.
Good News for Current Comcast Internet Subscribers
Here’s a bit of good news if you’re a current Comcast internet subscriber.
If you are currently using Comcast as your ISP, the company is still offering its Xfinity Flex streaming device for free to current internet customers. With the Xfinity Flex device in place, you get access to 15,000 hours of TV shows and movies, including content from NBCUniversal’s new Peacock streaming service.
According to Xfinity, Flex users can add AMC+ for the $4.99 price. So you don’t need a Comcast cable TV subscription to get AMC+, just Comcast internet and their free Xfinity Flex device.
Again, we wouldn’t recommend switching to Comcast as your ISP or as a cable provider just to get AMC+. But if you’re already set up with Comcast internet, you might as well enjoy a free streaming device with free access to Peacock and cheaper access to AMC+.
