Channel Add-Ons

Unlike any of the other internet TV services out there, you can’t add any additional channels with Philo. You can only choose between the $16/month package and the $20/month package.

That also means you’re out of luck if you want to watch content from networks like Showtime, HBO, STARZ, and other such premium channels. There’s no option to subscribe to these networks on Philo.

Philo may be right for you if you mostly watch entertainment and lifestyle channels. However, if you do want to watch premium channels, or get local news, sports and other channels not offered by Philo, you may be better off with a different package.
