Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Max (formerly HBO Max) has quickly become a must-have streaming service thanks to its high-quality content and straight-to-streaming movie options. Its list of AAA content makes it a service that cord-cutters either want to own or share. And thankfully, the HBO-branded service is available on a long list of popular devices, including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and more. Before you go and hit subscribe, check out the Max device support list (current as of publication date).

Can I watch Max on other devices?

Don’t see a device you currently own on the list? Don’t worry. As long as you have a modern TV, connected devices are a good entry point for new cord-cutters. We recommend either the Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, or Roku devices for newbies. That said, you cannot use any device that’s not currently listed on the Max website.

What can you watch on Max?

Max doesn’t have the lowest price compared to other VOD streaming services. However, JustWatch confirmed that Max has the best-rated content, so the value for money is impressive.

Note that this list grows by the day, but with Max, you shouldn’t miss these titles:

If you’d like something different, how about trying live TV streaming? It’s the best option for cord-free fans to enjoy stations that air live in the United States and beyond. And Flixed has a detailed TV guide that helps pick a suitable platform and see what’s available on almost any channel in the US.

How many devices can you use simultaneously on Max?

You can use up to three simultaneous streams on Max. It’s an average in the industry, at least according to our Max simultaneous streams guide. You don’t have the option to unlock more devices. However, you can download titles to watch them offline.

Max is a great choice for VOD streaming

Owned by Warner Bros, Max has an impressive team in charge of running the platform. That guarantees excellent device support and ensures the app runs flawlessly across every gadget used. The library is admirable in terms of quality and quantity, so the platform guarantees plenty of bang for the buck. Don’t hesitate to give Max a try if you need a premium VOD streaming service!
