The +/- indicate the favorite and the underdog, similar to with the point spread. The total, or over/under (o/u), is a type of bet that is based around the total number of points scored in the game by both teams combined. Below is an example of a total bet in a Utah game:

Again, we see our familiar format of the total bet where we are able to wager on the over or under of a specific stat or number. In this case, we are betting that the Utes will score 23 or more points in this game, regardless if they win or lose. This is a team prop because it pertains to the performance of only one team and not on the outcome of the game.
