Cord-cutting NFL fans may not want to miss the exciting prelude to the 2022 NFL season: the NFL Draft. Broadcasting Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30, football fans can stream 2022 NFL Draft live without cable using one of the following streaming services: Sling TV, fuboTV, DirecTV Stream, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and Vidgo. Here you’ll find everything you need to stream the 2022 NFL Draft without missing a minute of the action.
Watch the 2022 NFL Draft for Free
Unlike the NFL and your local NFL games, you can’t watch the NFL draft on broadcast networks. Instead, the NFL Draft is streaming on ESPN and the NFL Network. That means you’ll need to either pay for a subscription-based live TV streaming service or (better yet), sign up for one of several free trials offers they have available. The services that currently have free trials and carry ESPN or the NFL Network include:
- Sling TV: 3 days for free
- fuboTV: 7 days for free
- DirecTV Stream: 5 days for free
- YouTube TV: 7 days for free
- Vidgo: 7 days for free
A credit card is required for each of these streaming services’ free trial. Additionally, if you want to end the service before being charged, you’ll need to make sure to cancel your service before the 7 days have elapsed. Free trials are a zero-risk way to watch free streams of the 2022 NFL Draft, and a good way to see if there’s an affordable cord-cutting service out there that fits your TV watching needs.
Watch the 2022 NFL Draft on Sling TV
By far the cheapest option for watching the 2022 NFL Draft, Sling TV is a low-cost live TV streaming service that carries several channels you may want even outside of sports. Every package currently available through Sling TV has at least one of the two networks you need to watch the NFL Draft:
- Sling Orange: NFL Network
- Sling Blue: ESPN
- Sling Orange+Blue: NFL Network, ESPN
Between Sling Orange and Sling Blue (both under $40 per month), Sling TV is the best value for watching the NFL Draft this year. Sling TV allows you to stream these networks directly through the Sling TV app. Additionally, because Sling TV is a TV Everywhere provider, you can connect to your NFL Network or ESPN stream through either the NFL app or the ESPN app.
Alongside giving you access to the 2022 NFL Draft live stream, Sling TV has several features you may enjoy. These include simultaneous streaming (up to 3 devices per account with Sling Orange, and 1 device per account with Sling Blue); 50 hours of free DVR storage; and access to a Sling TV app on a wide variety of devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android, and iOS.

Watch the 2022 NFL Draft on fuboTV
True sports fans often turn to fuboTV because of how expansive its sports package is. Both ESPN and NFL Network are included, as are dozens of other sports networks. Both US and international sports networks are available through the base channel package, with even more on offer through add-on channel packages.
Unlike most of the competing services on the list, fuboTV has several packages available, mostly which focus on expanding the shareability and additional functions of the service. For example, the Starter package offers 250 hours of cloud-based DVR storage and 3 simultaneous streams per account, while the Pro package includes 1000 hours of cloud DVR and 10 simultaneous streams per account.
Of course, you could go all-out with the Elite package if you want 50+ additional channels in your channel package. Uniquely, all fuboTV channels offer a large amount of content in 4K streaming quality, far more than most other services and great for sports streaming.
Here’s our fuboTV Review for you to explore further.
Watch the 2022 NFL Draft on DirecTV Stream

Free Trial
After many name changes, DirecTV Stream has (most recently known as AT&T TV) is available and ready for sports streaming. This service has both channels you need (ESPN, NFL Network) for streaming the upcoming NFL Draft in 2022. Interestingly, if you decide to keep DirecTV Stream, it’s also one of the few live TV cord-cutting services that still has most of its regional sports network contracts in place.
The free trial for this service is essential, especially given the purchase price that starts at $70 per month for 65+ channels. If you’re doing the math, that means fewer channels per dollar compared to the other services, including fuboTV. Still, given its offering of RSNs, it could be a good bet for fans of local sports.
This service also has some features you may find valuable, including 3 simultaneous streams per account, 40,000 on-demand titles, and 250 hours of cloud DVR storage.
You can get more details in our DirecTV Stream Review.
Watch the 2022 NFL Draft on Hulu + Live TV
Practically a house-hold name right now, especially compared to the others on the list, Hulu + Live TV is distinct among the other options. You gain access to both ESPN and NFL network, covering you for streaming the 2022 NFL Draft. But this service also comes with much more. The price (that’s similar to the lowest-cost option from DirecTV Stream) includes:
- 75+ channels
- Full access to Disney+
- Full access to ESPN+
- Full access to Hulu
- 50 hours of cloud DVR storage
- 2 simultaneous streams per account
The downside here is that Hulu + Live TV does not come with a free trial. That said, if you’re already paying for Disney+ (as most of us are these days), and you’re interested in ESPN+, you can walk away saving a lot of money by opting for Hulu + Live TV as your go-to live TV streaming service.

Watch the 2022 NFL Draft on YouTube TV
Speaking of household names in affordable live TV streaming, YouTube TV is also a popular service to consider for your 2022 NFL Draft streaming this year. A 7-day free trial is available to start, giving you access to ESPN (but not NFL Network) alongside 80+ other channels.
Sports fans may enjoy YouTube TV outside of the NFL Draft as it carries a large among of sports channels needed for streaming MLB and NBA games. It’s also one of the most affordable services for sharing thanks to its unique subscription cost splitting feature, the option to create up to 6 user profiles, and unlimited cloud DVR storage for each profiled user (although videos expire after 9 months).
Our YouTube TV Review will give you more details.
Watch the 2022 NFL Draft on Vidgo

Those interested in fuboTV may want to check out Vidgo, as well. The service has a sports-centric focus, like fuboTV, but a slightly cheaper price (around $10/month cheaper on the lower end). It also offers 100+ channels, including the two networks you need to stream the 2022 NFL Draft.
This service has a 7-day free trial you can use to take the service for a spin during the NFL Draft event. If you decide to keep your package going month-to-month afterward, Vidgo provides up to 3 simultaneous streams per account and a 72-hour rewind feature for live broadcasts. However, there is currently no cloud DVR available.
