This year’s 2022 Olympic Games are being held in Beijing, and the action starts with the opening ceremony. Olympics coverage is being spread across several NBCUniversal properties this year, including NBC, USA Network, CNBC, the NBC Sports app, and Peacock. All of these channels are available on Sling TV, FuboTV, DirecTV Stream, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV plus more on Peacock. Read on to learn how to watch the 2022 Olympic opening ceremonies.

When is the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games Opening Ceremony?

If you want to watch it live, you’ll have to get up early. The opening ceremony is airing live at 6:30 a.m. EST on Friday, February 4, 2022. Catch it live on NBC, or stream it on Peacock, NBCOlympics.com, or any of the following streaming subscriptions that offer NBC channels.

For anyone that can’t make that viewing, tune in at primetime for a replay of the event. The second showing airs from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST on NBC. Peacock will offer special coverage of Team USA, if you’re looking for bonus content.

Which Streaming Services Carry the Winter Olympics?

NBCUniversal has the exclusive coverage rights to the 2022 Winter Olympics. Their family of networks includes NBC, CNBC, USA Network, and Peacock, and the various games and events will be spread out among these channels. The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed on Peacock or NBCOlympics.com (which requires a cable subscription to access).

For the replay at primetime, you’ll also need NBC to watch. Bonus content and streaming options will be available on Peacock as well. To watch the 2022 Olympic Games opening ceremony, you’ll need access to NBC or Peacock. You can get NBC with Sling TV, fuboTV, DirecTV Stream, Hulu with Live TV, and YouTube TV.
