HBO hasn’t released an official list of apps yet
The official HBO Max site doesn’t any specific information about apps. What it does say is this:
“HBO Max will be available on many popular devices: phones, tablets, Mac and PC browsers, streaming media players and game consoles. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to our launch date.”
Since HBO Max developers are working on game console apps, there is a small chance that HBO Max will support Nintendo Switch at launch. However, the slow pace of Switch app development in general makes this seem somewhat unlikely.
Nintendo Switch apps are often slow to launch
The fact that there is still no Twitch app for Nintendo Switch suggests that it will probably take a long time for HBO Max to release an app for the platform. Hulu is one of the only streaming services that Twitch currently supports.
