Apple TV+ on the Roku
When it was first announced, Apple primarily had its own devices listed for streaming the Apple TV+ service. However, it quickly changed its tune. As of this time of publishing, you can stream Apple TV+ on any Roku device, including Roku TVs.
Additionally, depending on the device you’re using, you can also stream your Apple TV+ content in 4K HDR, and with Dolby Atmos sound.
Support for the Roku App
Because Apple lists the Roku on its official Apple TV+ website, you can expect continued support for Roku devices.
Unfortunately, Apple does not go into exact detail regarding which Roku devices generations it currently supports. For good measure, you’ll want to make sure you install the Apple TV+ app on your most currently updated Roku devices.
Finally, note that in the Roku Channels Store, you’ll find the Apple TV+ app simple under the name “Apple TV”. Apple owns another service called “Apple TV”, which is only available on Apple devices.
