Quibi Is Not Available On PlayStation 4
Quibi (short for “Quick Bites”) is a mobile-exclusive streaming service which has raised more than $1 billion in investments from major studios and companies. It’s designed to offer bite-sized, short-form content between 7-10 minutes in length.
When it launches, Quibi will only be available on iOS and Android devices. This is because its original content is intended to be optimized for mobile viewing. It will not support any other streaming platform. This includes the PlayStation 4.
Will Quibi Ever Add PlayStation 4 Support?
We seriously doubt it. Quibi is looking to break into the streaming service market by touting its mobile exclusivity, and its short-form content. It doesn’t make sense for it to dilute that value proposition by releasing support for PlayStation 4 and other non-mobile streaming platforms like Amazon Fire TV or smart TVs.
