How do you download content on Hulu?
Hulu (no ads) and Hulu (no ads) + Live TV subscribers can download lots of shows and movies from the Hulu streaming library to enjoy all the content you love from your couch when traveling or offline.
To download content on Hulu, you need to be a Hulu subscriber on an ad-free plan with a supported mobile device. Not all content is downloadable, but the ones that are can be identified by a download icon next to the video.
How do I find and download shows and movies on Hulu?
To browse through various shows and movies that are available for download:
Step 1: Tap the Search icon.
Step 2: Select Downloadable from the Browse menu.
Step 3: When you find something you want to download, navigate to the details page and tap the Download icon next to the video to download it. You can download videos while connected to WiFi or cellular data.
Step 4: Tap the Downloads icon at the bottom of the screen to see all the downloads on that device.
After you’ve watched the video, tap the Trash icon to delete it and free up space, since there is a maximum capacity of 25 downloads between five supported devices at once. There is no individual limit on each profile or device.
The user will have access to any unwatched downloads for 30 days unless the episode or movie expires from Hulu’s streaming library earlier. After pressing play, you’ll have 48 hours to watch before the download expires.
Shows and movies from Premium add-ons aren’t downloadable, and neither is the on-demand content that comes with Hulu’s Live TV subscription.
