FuboTV Channels

FuboTV offers an increasingly large number of local TV options. You will need to check with fuboTV to see which local TV options are available to you, but its service now offers local options for Fox, CBS, USA (sports-related), FX (sports-related) and more.

fuboTV Supported Devices

You can also stream fuboTV live on most devices. The service has working apps for Android, iOS, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and updated web browsers running in both Windows and MacOS.

The full list of apps includes:

  • TV streaming media players: Apple TV (4th gen and up), Amazon Fire TV and TV Stick (1st gen and up), Chromecast and Roku (2, 3 and 4)
  • Smart TVs: Android TV (4.4 and up)

FuboTV DVR

You can record shows and sports matches with the free, 30-hour fuboTV cloud DVR. These recordings remain indefinitely until you delete them, or until you start running out of space, at which point your oldest recordings will be deleted automatically.

Should you need to upgrade to more cloud DVR storage, fuboTV offers an Enhanced DVR add-on that ups your storage to a rather crazy 500 hours of video storage.

To learn more about fuboTV’s DVR, click here.

FuboTV On-Demand Library

This service also offers a unique 72-Hour Rewind feature. With 72-Hour Rewind, you can watch almost any sporting event or TV show for 72 hours after it was aired on TV. That means that even if you forgot to record it on your DVR, you’ll still get access to it so long as it’s recordable, and you manage to get to it within three days.

That gives fuboTV a rather extensive on-demand library, but it also offers on-demand content from most channels beyond the 72-hours. You can also use your fuboTV account info to login to separate channel apps and websites where more content is available.

Hulu With Live TV Pricing and Packages

Watch Golf Channel on Sling TV

As mentioned earlier, Sling TV is the oldest of the skinny bundle internet TV services. It has led the way, and has even responded effectively to competition, expanding and improving on its service over the past few years.

Now, you can access Golf Channel through Sling TV, and for one of the cheapest possible prices anywhere. With a Sling TV subscription, you can get Golf Channel for $35 per month.

Sling TV Pricing and Packages

Sling TV offers three packages. The two lowest-cost option, Sling Orange and Sling Blue, each come in at $25 per month, but offer different channels. Neither option offers the Golf Channel. In fact, Sling Orange+Blue, which combines the two, also doesn’t offer Golf Channel.

Sling TV Channels

Sling TV has a wide selection of additional channels beyond. You’ll get easy access to NBC, for example, as well as ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, and more. You’ll also get a good selection of popular entertainment TV networks, like HGTV.

Sling TV Supported Devices

And for those who like devices, Sling TV works on almost any device you can think of. Android and iOS devices all work with Sling TV, as do most TV streaming devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Apple TV and more. Sling TV is also one of but a few internet TV services with working apps for a number of smart TVs.

The full list of options includes:

  • TV streaming media players: Apple TV (4th gen and up), Amazon Fire TV (all versions), Chromecast, Roku (LT and up), AirTV,
  • Smart TVs: LG TV (Web OS 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0, as well as select 2016-2018 models), Samsung TV (2016 through 2018 models), Android TV (4.4 and up), Roku TV, Mi TV,
  • Mobile devices and tablets: Android (4.4 and up),  iOS (11 and up), Amazon Fire (tablets)
  • Game consoles: Xbox One
  • Desktop browsers: Chrome on Mac and Windows recommended

Check here for more info on Sling TV’s supported devices.

Sling TV Simultaneous Streams

Sling Blue comes with an expanded simultaneous streaming option. While you would only get 1 stream if you went with Sling Orange (which, again, does not offer Golf Channel), you’ll get 3 with Sling Blue. And if you decide to upgrade to the Sling Orange + Blue package, you’ll not only get more channels but Sling TV states you’ll also get 4th simultaneous stream (limitations might apply).

To learn more about Sling TV’s simultaneous streams, click here.

Sling TV DVR

Sling TV also provides customers with a Cloud DVR option, although it does come at a cost. For $5 per month, you can save up to 50 hours of content using Sling TV’s DVR service. That’s more than you’ll get with fuboTV, at a lower overall price.

To learn more about Sling TV’s DVR, check here.

Sling TV On-Demand Library

Sling TV lets you watch a wide array of on-demand content immediately upon signing up. Most channels provide their content on-demand, with multiple seasons available, and movies from those channels that have them and provide them to Sling TV customers.

You’ll find using your Sling TV account information to login to separate channels’ apps and websites is a boon, however. Most channels offer much more content on-demand through their own sites and apps.

For Golf Channel fans, you’ll get access to all of your favorite Golf streams through PlayStation Vue from the 2nd-tier “Core” package. At $49.99 per month, it’s not the cheapest option for Golf Channel, but it’s also not the most expensive on our list.

PlayStation Vue Channels

PlayStation Vue is an excellent option for sports fans, in general, as the service has an exceptional number of sports channels. You’ll get a large number of sports channels, such as ESPN, Fox Sports, and NBC Sports, among others. You’ll also have access to a good number of Regional Sports Networks, and many entertainment networks.

To learn more about PlayStation Vue’s channels, click here.

PlayStation Vue Supported Devices

Sony probably could have named their service a bit better here. PlayStation Vue is available on not just PlayStation, but on almost any device you’re using. PlayStation Vue has a working app for Roku, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, Android, and most other mobile and desktop operating systems.

The full list includes:

  • TV streaming media players: Apple TV (4th gen and up), Android TV (all gens), Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick (all gens), Chromecast (1st gen and up) and Roku (firmware 8.0 and up)
  • Smart TVs: Amazon Fire TV (all gens), Android TV (all gens) and Roku (firmware 8.0 and up).
  • Mobile devices and tablets: Android OS 5.0 and up, iOS 9 and up, and Amazon Fire HD6 tablets and up
  • Game consoles: PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4
  • Desktop browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge are recommended (most recent versions will work)

Click here to learn more about PlayStation Vue’s device support.

PlayStation Vue Simultaneous Streams

Sony is also extremely generous with its simultaneous streams as well. One account gets you up to 5 simultaneous streams, depending on the devices that you use. That’s more most of the other services, with the exception of Hulu With Live TV (which you have to pay extra for).

To learn more about PlayStation Vue’s simultaneous streaming policy, check here.

PlayStation Vue DVR

The cloud DVR with this service is not the best, there’s a caveat. While you’ll get unlimited cloud storage, those videos expire after 28 days. However, you’ll find the service offers the option to create 10 individual user accounts, and each user gets his or her own cloud DVR storage.

To learn more about PlayStation Vue’s DVR, click here.

PlayStation Vue On-Demand Library

PlayStation Vue has a standard amount of on-demand content, which is mostly dictated by the number of channels available. Different channels offer their on-demand content through the service, but it will be limited mostly to popular shows and recent seasons. You can extend that library by using your PlayStation Vue account information to log in to many individual channels’ websites and apps.

AT&T seems to always push the envelope in developing new options for TV consumers. For cord-cutters, that comes in the way of its increasingly popular AT&T TV Now streaming service. Golf Channel seekers will find AT&T TV Now provides Golf Channel, although you might have a few holdups when choosing this service exclusively for Golf Channel.

AT&T TV Now Pricing and Packages

AT&T TV Now provides several channel packages, but emphasizes its two lowest-costing options:

  • PLUS: 40+ channels, $50/month

DirecTV Now DVR

There’s a very limited cloud DVR available through this service. Every streaming package comes with a 20-hour cloud DVR that’s also restricted to 30-day time limits on video recordings. It’s, by far, the most limited DVR on the market for this type of service.

AT&T TV Now On-Demand Library

A 72-hour rewind feature makes AT&T TV Now’s on-demand library far more extensive than most other services, to a limited degree. In general, it’s on-demand library is large, with ads on videos as is common. You will be able to access numerous current and past season shows from multiple networks, as well as full-length movies.

Golf Channel App and Website (Service Subscription Required)

golf channel
Source: Golf Channel

Golf Channel has both an app and website-based streaming for those who have a service subscription. Thankfully, any service subscription will do, including an internet TV option such as those listed above.

The key benefit of using this option is that it doesn’t count against your simultaneous streaming limits.

For example, if you’ve signed up for AT&T TV Now and want to bypass the 2-device streaming limit, you can load up the app, enter your AT&T TV Now credentials, and stream away.

Both the app and website are free to use, as long as you’ve subscribed to an internet TV “skinny bundle”, or you have a cable/satellite subscription.
