Paramount+ Simultaneous Streams 2024 - Watch on up to 3 Devices

Paramount+Paramount+Simultaneous Streams

CBS All Access launched back in 2014, then, after CBS merged back into Viacom in late 2019, relaunched as Paramount+ in March 2021. With on-demand content from CBS, Paramount, Comedy Central, BET, Nickelodeon and more, as well as live sports and your local CBS affiliate station, you may envision a lot of fighting over the remote. Or you’re wondering about Paramount+ simultaneous streams. And we’ve got the answers below.

If you’re looking for our in-depth look at the service, read our complete Paramount+ Review.

How many simultaneous streams come with Paramount+?

Paramount+ allows users to stream on up to 3 devices at once with no other limitations. And this applies to both plans. So, whether you decide to go for the ad-supported Paramount+ Essential plan or the ad-free Paramount+ Premium plan, battles over the remote shouldn’t occur too often.

However, if you’re streaming on too many devices at once, you’ll be blocked from opening any additional Paramount+ streams until someone stops using the service.

For more on both of the above plans, check out Paramount+ Plans and Pricing – Everything You Need to Know.

Can I upgrade Paramount+ to get more streams?

No. Unfortunately for those in big households who love CBS and Nickelodeon, you can only stream on 3 devices at a time, no matter what. While the 3-device limit should be fine for most families and households, the only way to get more than 3 streams is to purchase another separate Paramount+ subscription.

And if that’s the case, you might want to see how Paramount+ stacks up vs. Peacock, or consider adding one of these 7 Paramount+ alternatives to your streaming lineup.

What devices can I use to watch Paramount+?

Paramount+ supports pretty much all major streaming devices like iOS and Android, web browsers, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV, gaming consoles from Xbox and PlayStation, and even some smart TVs.
