CBS All Access is dead, and taking its place is Paramount+, which combines all the content that was available on CBS All Access with a wide variety of additional content from ViacomCBS channels like Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Comedy Central and Smithsonian Channel, as well as more Paramount+ Originals.
So how much does Paramount+ cost? What packages are available, and what price will you pay to enjoy this latest streaming service? Find out now in this guide from Flixed.
Paramount+ Essential – $4.99/month
On a budget? Then we’ve got good news. You can get Paramount+ for just $4.99/month for the base-tier plan, which includes access to its 30,000+ TV episodes and 2,500+ movies. If you want, you can pay $49.99/year to save a bit more money, but that does require a longer commitment.
This Paramount+ plan is cheaper because it’s supported with commercials, similarly to Hulu. It also does not include a CBS live stream. You’ll need the $9.99/month Paramount+ Premium plan to get a CBS live stream.
Paramount+ Premium – $9.99/month
Similarly to the old CBS All Access Plan, you can pay a premium for Paramount+ to get an ad-free viewing experience. If you choose this plan, you will never have to watch a single commercial while watching on-demand content. You’ll also get a CBS live stream, so you can watch top shows like Survivor and NCIS live when they stream on CBS. It costs $9.99/month, but you’ve also got the option to pay $99.99/year and save some extra cash.
However, live content like a CBS live stream will still have commercials, as you’d expect. This Paramount+ plan is definitely a better option if you have a bit more money to spend and want a smoother viewing experience that won’t be interrupted by ads every 15-20 minutes.
Paramount+ Add-Ons & Extras
Currently, there’s only one add-on for Paramount+. You can add Showtime to your subscription. Adding Showtime costs costs $9.99/month or $99.99/year with the Essential plan, or $12.99/month or $129.99/year with the Premium plan.
