From there you can add-on whatever channel packs you want. There are around 20 channel packs to choose from. Both base plans come with Cartoon Network. Sling TV DVR
The DVR received a major upgrade that helped Sling TV gain more traction against other streamers in this category. You no longer have to pay extra to use the DVR and it now works with all the core channels. Previously, you had to pay for recording functionality and you could only record select channels. However, there’s a slight catch: the free version of the DVR can only record 10 hours. That’s by far the lowest amount of DVR recording time in the industry. A paid upgrade boosts that number to 50 hours.
