Can I restart my Philo subscription later?

Yes! Philo will let you restart your subscription later, and you can still finish out the rest of the month of your subscription before you lose access to your favorite channels.

Are there any good Philo alternatives?

Depending on the type of service you’re looking for, there may be several alternatives that meet your needs. If you want to try a streaming service that’s slightly pricier than Philo, consider subscribing to either Sling Orange or Sling Blue.

Both Sling packages have a wide array of standard entertainment channels, which you can see in this guide from Flixed. And if you’re looking for some basic sports channels, Sling Orange has ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3.

If Philo was your primary source for Discovery Inc. channels—like Discovery, History, and HGTV—then Discovery+ might be a good on-demand alternative to watch Discovery Inc.’s large library of content.

However, if you’re looking to add more sports channels back into your live TV streaming options, you may want to consider Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV Stream, or YouTube TV.

Other great streaming alternatives to Philo

Once you’ve canceled your Philo subscription, it’s quite easy to move on to bigger and better things.

For exclusive, high-end on-demand content, consider signing up for Disney+. You can cancel Disney+ just as easily as you did Philo.

For a live TV alternative, Hulu + Live TV offers an incredibly large selection of channels for a competitive price and includes sports (which you won’t find with Philo).

You may even want to consider ESPN+, which is a low-cost sports option that carries a wide variety of sports, including MLS (Major League Soccer) and UFC.
