Among the many oddities that streaming video-on-demand has wrought (such as the option to watch A Bee Movie every day for a year), none are more…warm…than the Yule Log.
Surprisingly, there are several companies behind these fireplaces crackling on your TV. And with the popularity of a stack of digital roaring oaks growing, one company, Fireplace For Your Home is looking to add more options for the holidays.
According to Miltech, a PR distribution site, Fireplace For Your Home plans to bring its brand of crackling fires to more streaming services, just in time for the winter vacation season.
Fireplace For Your Home offers more than just one style of fire as well. A quick check of their YouTube page reveals several cozy fireplace viewing options, such as “Retro Cracking Fireplace” featuring a 1950s era TV, and “Mac-n-Crackle,” which features a fire roaring in black-and-white pixelated goodness on a 1980s-era Apple computer.
Where to Stream Fireplace For Your Home
Thanks to Fireplace For Your Home, Amazon Prime users can now find over 30 different titles to choose from. These range from traditional Christmas music themes to some delicious Western mesquite wood burning bright for your next summer bar-b-que. Simply go to your Amazon Prime video account, type in “fireplace for your home” and relax to the sights and sounds of a real fake fire on your TV or computer screen.
Fireplace For Your Home can also be found on Netflix, where it’s been since 2010, although you only have three options here: Crackling Yule Log Fireplace, Crackling Fireplace and Crackling Fireplace With Music.
If Fireplace For Your Home just doesn’t seem to burn your embers in the right way, you still have plenty of alternatives. YouTube contains hundreds of other blazing logs, many replete with music and lasting upwards of 10 hours–just in case that holiday party goes extra long.
