fuboTV Channels

Fans of the major US sports may see the lack of ESPN as a big negative, but half of fuboTV’s channel lineup are totally about sports. The other half of the lineup includes the broadcast and basic cable channels you expect from a cable replacement streaming service. If you like soccer, cricket, cycling or other sports as much as you like US football, then take a look at fuboTV.

fuboTV Local Channels & Regional Sports Networks

If you live near Tampa Bay, then you’ll get all of the local broadcast channels that carry NFL games as well as Fox Sports Florida. However, fuboTV’s support for local TV is not as strong in other markets. Only a fourth of the country can get their local CBS station. Fox stations are only available in a third of the country. Most markets can get a local NBC broadcast – but ABC isn’t available anywhere.

The NFL’s own app lets you watch local games as well as nationally-broadcast games, but that’s subject to the usual broadcast rules. Although the app is free, you have to sign in with credentials from a pay-TV provider like the ones in this article.

The app also has limitations. You can only watch one game at a time. The mobile apps won’t connect to a TV or a streaming stick as you can’t use AirPlay or Chromecast.

You’ll find the NFL app available for the following devices:

  • Living room devices: Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV and Roku.
  • Smart TVs and Blu-ray players: Televisions based on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, or Roku
  • Mobile devices and tablets: Android and iOS.
  • Game consoles: PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
  • Desktop browsers: Any modern browser.

Use an OTA Antenna

Why pay to watch the NFL when you can get CBS, Fox and NBC broadcasts for free? Combine an HDTV antenna with a networked TV tuner and you can stream the game anywhere in the house.
