fuboTV has two primary channel packages. The fubo package comes with 80+ channels, and will cost you about $45 per month. For an extra $5 per month, you can bump your subscription up to 100+ channels.

The number of channels you get in each package will vary by region, however, so you may have fewer channels across the board depending on where you live.

If you’re Green Bay Packers fan, this is a good option for you. fuboTV has agreements with local Green Bay NBC, CBS, and Fox stations, so you can watch every Green Bay Packers game that airs on these networks throughout the regular season.

In addition, you’ll get NFL Network. However, fuboTV does not have ESPN or any ESPN networks, so you’ll miss out on the Monday Night Football Packers game this year.

Features and extras

fuboTV has a reasonably good set of features. You can stream on 2 devices at once, but you’ll pay an extra $6 fee to add a third stream through the “Family Share” add-on.

You also get a free, 30-hour DVR with your subscription, which can be upgraded to an (absurdly high) 500 hours of storage for $10 per month, if desired. The “Lookback” feature can also be used to watch most shows and sporting events that have aired within 72 hours, even if you forgot to record them on your DVR.

Beyond this, fuboTV also offers great device support. On the go, you can stream Green Bay Packers games on your iOS or Android phone/tablet, or on your laptop. At home, fuboTV supports streaming platforms including Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, and Roku, as well as some Android TV devices.

Runner-Up – Sling TV

Sling TV is a good way to watch NFL games – but only if it has agreements with the NBC and Fox channels in your area. Sling does not have any local CBS stations, either.

So, unfortunately, it’s hamstrung in Green Bay, where it does not carry any of these major broadcast channels. If you live in the area where Packers games are shown, chances are you’re not going to get either NBC or Fox.

This is unfortunate, because at $25 per month, both the Sling Orange and Sling Blue packages are a good deal, and the $40/month Sling Orange + Blue package can be a great option for NFL fans in some other areas.

However, as things stand today, you will only be able to watch a total of 2 NFL games – from ESPN and the NFL Network – if you get Sling TV. That makes it a sub-par choice for anyone who wants to watch Green Bay Packers games without cable.

Hulu With Live TV

Source: Hulu With Live TV

Since it was first launched in 2017, Hulu With Live TV has technically remained in “Beta”, but has added dozens of channels and some extra features which make it a great choice for watching Green Bay Packers games without cable.

Channels & packages

Hulu With Live TV keeps things simple, which is refreshing, compared to the approach most traditional cable companies take. You’ll pay $40 per month for the service, and for your money, you’ll get around 70 channels, though this can vary somewhat based on your area.

For the price of entry, you’ll get CBS, Fox, NBC and ESPN, and plenty of other sports networks like Fox Sports and NBC Sports. There is no option for adding NFL Network, but since the game shown on NFL Network is also being simulcast on Fox, that’s not really a concern. With Hulu With Live TV, you’ll be able to watch every single regular season Green Bay Packers game without cable.

Features and extras

One of the most unique things about Hulu With Live TV is that it includes a free subscription to the Hulu on-demand streaming service, which is about an $8/month value. Technically, you can opt to get Hulu With Live TV without an on-demand subscription, but this will only drop the price of your subscription to $39 per month, so it doesn’t really make sense to do so.

Beyond this, Hulu With Live TV also includes a number of good features like a free cloud DVR with 50 hours of storage. With a $15/month Enhanced DVR package, you can boost your storage to 200 hours.

You can stream on only 2 devices at once, but if you opt for the $15/month Unlimited Screens package, you can stream on as many devices as you want at home, and on up to 3 outside of your home network.

Device support for Hulu With Live TV is also fantastic. On the go, you can watch on Android and iOS devices, as well as your computer. At home, a huge number of devices are supported, including media streaming platforms like Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV, as well as select smart TVs. Gaming console support is also great. You can watch Hulu With Live TV on the Xbox One and Xbox 360, as well as the Nintendo Switch.

PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue has struggled to gain a wide audience, but those who do subscribe love the service, and it has a number of features which make it great if you have a large family, and want to watch Green Bay Packers games without cable.

Channels & packages

PlayStation Vue offers a total of 4 different channel packages, as follows:

  • Access – 45 channels, $45/month
  • Core – 60 channels, $50/month
  • Elite – 84 channels, $60/month
  • Ultra – All Elite channels plus HBO/Showtime, $80/month

To get NBC and Fox, you’ll need to get the $45/month “Access” package. You’ll also get ESPN. You won’t get CBS, unfortunately, as PlayStation Vue has not come to an agreement to provide local Green Bay CBS stations just yet. You’ll miss a total of 2 games broadcast on CBS this Packers season.

If you want NFL Network, you’ll have to pony up for the $50/month Core package. For more sports programming, you can add the “Sports Pack” to any Core or higher subscription package for $10/month, and get NFL RedZone, and more than a dozen other top sports channels.

Features and extras

PlayStation Vue has great features for families. You can stream on up to 5 devices at once, which is extremely generous. You also get a 28-day DVR which lets you record as much content as you want. After 28 days, though, your oldest recordings will be deleted.

You’ll also get fantastic device support. Naturally, the PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles are supported, as are web browsers and iOS/Android devices. Other supported systems include the Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Chromecast and Apple TV, as well as some Android TV devices.

YouTube TV

Source: YouTube TV

YouTube TV officially launched in 2017 and has quickly become one of the most competitive internet streaming options, particularly if you’re looking to watch Green Bay Packers games without cable.

Channels & packages

YouTube TV, like Hulu, keeps things simple with a single, $40/month package that gives you around 70 channels, depending on your area. For your money, you’ll get local Green Bay NBC, Fox, and CBS affiliates, as well as ESPN, and a number of other sports channels.

While NFL Network can’t be added to YouTube TV, this isn’t a major concern. As we’ve already mentioned, Fox will be simulcasting the Packers game shown on NFL Network, so you won’t miss a single game this season.

Features and extras

YouTube TV has a great set of features, which make it one of the best choices for internet TV. First, you get a truly unlimited DVR. You can save as many shows as you want for up to 9 months, which is better – by far – than any competitor, and doesn’t cost you a dime.

YouTube TV also lets you stream on 3 devices at once, which is more generous than any of our other recommended services. You can even create up to 6 individual user accounts for each member of your family and get customized recommendations, as well as parental controls.

In the past, YouTube TV lagged behind the competition when it came to device support, but this is no longer the case. Streaming is supported on Google Chrome and on iOS/Android phones and tablets, as well as Apple TV, Chromecast, and Roku. The Xbox One is also supported, as are some select smart TVs from Sharp, LG, Hisense, Samsung and VIZIO.

DirecTV Now

Source: DirecTV Now

DirecTV Now, which is owned by AT&T, offers a great channel selection, but limited features. Here’s what you need to know about this internet TV service.

Channels & packages

DirecTV Now gives you four different subscription packages to choose from.

  • Live A Little – 65+ channels, $40/month
  • Just Right – 85+ channels, $55/month
  • Go Big – 105+ channels, $65/month
  • Gotta Have It  – 125+ channels, $75/month

The best deal here is the $40 “Live A Little” package. You’ll get your local Green Bay Fox, NBC, and CBS stations, allowing you to watch every broadcast game, as well as ESPN and NFL Network. For the price, this channel lineup is hard to beat.

Features and extras

DirecTV Now has sub-par features but has made some serious improvements in the last year. While the service previously lacked any kind of DVR, it now gives you a free 20-hour DVR, with 10 storage “slots”. And while you can only stream on 2 devices at once by default, you can now add a third stream for an extra $5 per month fee.

Device support for DirecTV Now is good, though. You can watch on your Android or iOS phone or tablet, as well as your web browser. Living room devices supported include Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV.

Watching Green Bay Packers Games With an OTA Antenna

Not sure you want to spend the money on an internet TV service like fuboTV or Sling TV? Don’t worry. If you’re on a budget, you can watch every NFL game that airs on your local NBC, CBS, and Fox affiliate stations – for just the price of an antenna.

You see, local Fox, CBS, and NBC networks don’t just air Green Bay Packers games on cable. They’re available to anyone in the broadcast area who has an OTA (Over-The-Air) antenna. Just buy an antenna, connect it to your TV, and scan for channels. That’s it!

For more information about OTA antennas, how to set them up, and what channels you can get, take a look at these following guides:

NFL Sunday Ticket for Out of Market Games

Source: NFL Sunday Ticket

Don’t live in Green Bay? Want to watch Packers games? NFL Sunday Ticket may be your best bet for games shown on Fox and CBS – but there’s a more than one catch.

First, the service costs about $300 per season. Second, you can’t get it without a DirecTV subscription – unless you live somewhere like a military base, apartment, or a dorm where you can’t get DirecTV.

The only other exception is for some people who live in the New York City, San Francisco, or Philadelphia areas. Yes, it’s confusing, so the best thing to do is to use this tool from DirecTV, to see if you’re eligible to purchase Sunday Ticket.

Get Replays of Green Bay Packers Games with NFL Game Pass

If you are okay with only watching replays of Green Bay Packers games, you can get NFL Game Pass for about $100 per season, and get full access to replays, condensed games and more from every team in the NFL – a total of 256 regular season games.

There’s an interesting wrinkle to this service, too. If you live outside of America, Mexico, and the surrounding regions, you can watch regular season NFL games live, including Green Bay Packers games, with NFL Game Pass International. You can learn more and see if you qualify with this link.
