When fuboTV got its start, the streaming service only wanted to focus on soccer. But as it added more channels, it ended up carrying a great collection of basic cable channels. Now, fuboTV is the perfect cable replacement for sports-loving families. And even though its support for regional cable channels isn’t great, subscribers in Houston and surrounding markets will get AT&T SportsNet Southwest.

fuboTV Channels
International and American sports channels like TUDN and ESPN dominate the fuboTV channel lineup. The rest of the basic cable channel lineup delivers all of the popular content people expect from a cable-replacement service. fuboTV Local Channels & Regional Sports Networks
In most of the country, fuboTV does not carry regional sports networks except for those from NBC Sports. In Houston and the rest of AT&T SportsNet Southwest’s coverage area, however, fuboTV will deliver the stream. FuboTV’s support for local TV stations is not perfect. Most people will be able to watch their local NBC station. Roughly half of the country will be able to get their local Fox and/or CBS stations. When the Disney deal goes into effect, fuboTV will be able to stream local ABC stations. Unfortunately, the service has to sign contracts with individual station-owners. AT&T SportsNet has apps for tablets and smartphones that run iOS or Android. Since fuboTV carries AT&T SportsNet Southwest, people who live in Houston and surrounding areas will be able to use the SportsNet app. However, it will only let you stream Astros or Rockets games when you are in the AT&T SportsNet Southwest coverage area. If you travel elsewhere in the country, then the app is subject to blackout restrictions.
