Hoping to sign up for a Vidgo subscription in 2020? Vidgo offers four different subscription options that make it great for live TV and sports streaming fans. How much you pay will depend on which package you choose. Below, find out more about the current Vidgo subscription cost.
Before we start, we want to highlight a featured deal. The Disney Bundle is one of the best options for streaming in 2020 with a package that offers a rich catalogue of content for all ages including movies, shows, and sports.
Sign up below to get the whole bundle for only $12.99 a month or start a 7 day trial for Disney Plus.
The price you’ll pay for Vidgo depends on two things:
- The subscription option you choose
- Any current deals Vidgo is offering
In general, the pricing breakdown for Vidgo is as follows:
- Core Package: $39.99/month
- Plus Package: $49.99/month
- Latino Package: $14.99/month
- Latino Mas Package: $24.99/month
Every so often, Vidgo might offer deals that provide discounts on your service. For example, during the coronavirus pandemic, Vidgo started offering a $10 per month discount on all subscriptions. That deal expires (or expired, depending on when you’re reading this page) June 30, 2020.
When Was the Last Time Vidgo Raised Its Prices?
Vidgo has never had an official price increase as of this time of writing, but it has changed its packages several times since launch that resulted in higher prices for certain types of channel packages.
The Vidgo streaming service initially launched in August 2019. At that time, the service only offered its Latino and Latino Mas package options at the same prices currently available.
Vidgo official launched an English-language channel package in October 2019, which it called the National English Streaming Plan. The English-language package was $14.99 at that time for 40+ channels.
Then, on January 16, Vidgo released its updated English-language package options with its currently-available Core and Plus packages. Both packages were introduced at their current prices.
Does Vidgo Have Any Paid Add-Ons?
Vidgo does not offer any paid add-on channels. If you want a large number of channels from Vidgo, you’ll need to opt for the higher-tier package option between the Spanish-language or US-based package options.
Does Vidgo Have Extra Hidden Fees?
Vidgo does not carry any hidden fees. There is a chance, however, that Vidgo might charge you a bit extra depending on where you live, as some states impose taxes on streaming services. A report from SP Global finds that over half of all states now collect sales tax on streaming service subscriptions.
Does Vidgo Offer a Free Trial for New Users?
Yes! You can get a 7-day free trial from Vidgo. That free trial offer is available for any package option, as well. You cannot, however, get a free trial for different channel packages.
Other Great Streaming Services
Vidgo has an extensive package of channels for a cost but comes up short in a few areas.
You may also want to add Disney+ to your streaming options. Disney+ features an extensive library offering of popular movies and Disney original.
Sports fans should consider ESPN+. The service makes a good, low-cost complement to Vidgo, especially with its exclusive access to UFC matches and other international sports.
