Does Sling TV Have Any Paid Add-Ons?
Yes. For one thing, you don’t get a free DVR with Sling TV. You’ll have to pay $5 to unlock a 50-hour cloud DVR. It’s not exactly a hidden fee, but it would be nice if the DVR was included in the cost of your subscription.
In addition to that, Sling TV has an “a la carte” business model, which allows you to add dozens of individual channels and packages to your subscription for an additional fee. For a full lineup of these channels, you can check out this article.
Does Sling TV Have Extra Hidden Fees?
No. Unlike with a traditional cable or satellite subscription, Sling TV does not have any extra fees for things like equipment rental, installation, or when you want to cancel your contract. All of the costs for your subscription are clearly shown when you sign up, and there are no extra fees.
