Watch MSG+ on AT&T TV Now

Why Are There Only 2 Options for MSG+ Without Cable?
If you’re hoping to save more money on your live sports, you’re going to have a hard time doing so with MSG+. Unfortunately, other cord-cutting alternatives, including Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and Vidgo do not carry MSG+. The reason has everything to do with cost and contract agreements.
MSG charges carriers a large amount of money per subscriber to carry its channel. In 2011, it was charging nearly as much as ESPN, despite having a much smaller service area. Most services that offer sports likely decide that the cost of offering MSG+ is too high for the potential payoff.Â
That leaves subscribers with only a small number of options. It’s also why you’ll only find MSG+ through AT&T TV Now’s high-priced Choice package.Â
Unhappy with your streaming options for MSG+? Consider an alternative. You could just say no to MSG+. If that’s the case, consider signing up for one of the other live TV services available, especially one that offers SportsNet New York.Â
