Many Kodi addons have disappeared in the last few weeks. In making sure our content is fresh for readers, we’ve gone through and checked popular addons like cCloud TV. We’ve found that the cCloud TV Kodi addon is still available, although with some changes in the installation method. The popular cCloud TV Kodi addon offers hundreds of live TV channels from U.S and British networks, along with some international channels. Sports channels, news channels, and regular entertainment channels are all available through this cCloud as well.
Below, you’ll find our guide covering two different ways to install the cCloud TV Kodi addon. We also provide a detailed overview of the addon towards the end of the article that should help shed light on some of the pros and cons of the addon.

Before we Proceed
We highly recommend using a VPN when using Kodi. Kodi users have been known to receive copyright infringement notices for streaming movies, sports, and TV shows through various addons. If you would like to keep your streaming habits private, our recommendation is IPVanish - a complete privacy solution for Kodi users. It's also worth noting that purchasing a 12 month subscription will give you two months free.

How to Install cCloud TV Kodi Addon
There are two easy ways to install cCloud TV: directly from its Github location, or through the SuperRepo repository. We recommend you choose Github over the SuperRepo option. SuperRepo does not update its addons regularly, so you may not be getting the latest version of the addon if you download it through there.
Option 1: Directly from GitHub
To get cCloud TV from Github, do the following:
- Open a new tab and go to the following address: https://github.com/kodil/kodil/tree/master/repo/plugin.video.ccloudtv
- Click on the most recently updated version of the cCloud zip file
- Click on Download
- Open up Kodi to your home screen
- Go to Add-ons and click on the Package symbol (top left)
- Click on install from zip
- Find the cCloud zip file that you just downloaded (it will be named something like plugin.video.ccloudtv-1.5.5.zip). Simply click the file to begin installing it.
- You can now find cCloud under Videos > Addons
Option 2: SuperRepo
If you have the SuperRepo super-repository, you can easily download cCloud TV from there as well.
To use SuperRepo, do the following:
- Highlight Add-ons from your home screen
- Click on My Add-ons
- Select the ellipses (…) at the top
- Click Install from repository
- Select SuperRepo
- Click on Video Addons
- Scroll down the list to locate cCloud TV
- Select cCloud TV and then Install
- You will find cCloud TV in your Addons > Video Addons section
cCloud TV Kodi Addon: Benefits and Limitations
As one of the most popular IPTV addons on Kodi, cCloud TV is also an addon that works extremely well. This addon provides access to hundreds of television channels from mostly US and UK television stations. Many of the channels delivered are localized, although most are generic. You’ll find working access to some of the most popular cable and over-the-air television networks, including:
- Cartoon Network
- Comedy Central
- Discovery Channel
- History Channel
- …and a whole lot more!
cCloud TV also includes additional benefits that make it a very useful addon. It includes links to a large number of international radio stations and integrates with Renegades TV Guide and iVue TV Guide to give users previews of what’s airing on each channel.
The sections of cCloud are broken into:
- Top 10
- 24/7 Channels
There are two additional sections for On Demand Movies and On Demand Shows. These sections are less developed than the live TV options. For example, the On Demand Shows section only has a few episodes from the previous season of The Walking Dead and one random episode from fashion-related Vietnamese TV show. The On Demand Movies section has more to offer, although the majority of these channels are Bollywood films.
cCloud TV Alternatives
If you found that you had difficulty either installing or using cCloud TV, there may be a few alternatives available. Kodi addons can come and go without warning, so it’s a good idea for you to download and install multiple different addons to get to the content that you’re looking for.
No other addon has as many streams available as cCloud TV, but the following options might be able to give you a good viewing experience:
Goodfellas 2.0 is the second iteration of the Goodfellas IPTV Kodi addon. This one can come and go at times, but is currently working as of our most recent tests (as of 6/22/2017). Goodfellas offers a load of UK, British, and US TV streaming options, as well as a few additional features.
Sanctuary isn’t just one thing. In fact, Sanctuary is a compendium of a lot of different addons, many of which were abandoned by their original developers and absorbed into this one addon. Some of those options work, and some do not. However, enough do work to make the Sanctuary addon a very good option and substitute for cCloud TV.
We recommend that you also access our longer guide on the Best Live TV Addons for Kodi. This guide includes half a dozen different life TV addons, which all work based on our most recent testing. These addons vary in quality, however, and none of the addons on this list will have as much content as cCloud TV.
