Our team at Flixed is proud to announce that we’ve created a new tool that will fill the gap for one of Hulu’s most requested features: a random episode button.

The inception of the idea came after we followed a recent Reddit AMA by Hulu’s SVP of Experience, Ben Smith. We were surprised to see that one of the topics that got users talking most was the possible implementation of a ‘Random Episode’ button. After researching further, we discovered that Hulu users had actually been requesting this feature for several years, dating all the way back to 2016.

Instead of waiting for Hulu to integrate the feature, we decided to create a Chrome extension that would do the job.

The steps to use it are simple:

  1. Install the chrome extension.
  2. Navigate to your favorite show on Hulu.
  3. Press the ‘Random Episode’ button!

And that’s all there is to it. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us via our contact form or the comments section below.

The release was also covered by Business Insider, so you can read more about it there.
