Fox Desportes is just one of many niche sports channels that most local cable companies don’t carry. When fuboTV debuted in 2015, it saw an opening there and started giving sports fans the ability to stream it and a wide variety of other hard-to-find channels that carry soccer matches via the internet. Recently, fuboTV has expanded to become a full-featured cable replacement service with channels that the whole family can enjoy.

fuboTV Pricing and Packages

fuboTV’s least expensive subscription plan is fubo Standard. It costs $55/month and comes with around 90 channels.

The next step up is fubo Family, which costs $60 and has the same number of channels, but comes with expanded DVR storage and a third simultaneous stream.

To get Showtime movie channels, you can upgrade to the fubo Entertainment plan. It costs $70 and comes with the DVR storage expansion, but only two simultaneous streams.

fubo Ultra is the streaming service’s premium plan. It costs $80 and comes with three simultaneous streams, the DVR upgrade, Showtime movie channels and around 110 extra channels.

Watch Fox Deportes on PlayStation Vue

No PlayStation needed to get Vue
Source: PlayStation Vue

For the past several weeks, cord-cutter blogs have been wondering about the future of Sony’s streaming service PlayStation Vue. Sony recently cut PlayStation Vue’s marketing budget and this gave the impression that the streaming service would be shutting down as well. Thankfully, this isn’t the case. With apps for all the major TV devices, above average features and reasonable prices, PlayStation Vue will continue to provide yet another way to stream Fox Desportes via the internet.

PlayStation Vue Pricing and Packages

PlayStation Vue has four subscription options: Access, Core, Elite and Ultra. Prices start at $50 and go all the way up to $85 per month. The cheapest plan that has Fox Deportes is Elite, which costs $65/month. If you want to save some money, you can get the $50 Access plan with $5/month Espanol Pack channel add-on instead.

For more information about PlayStation Vue’s plans, click here.

PlayStation Vue Channels

As mentioned above, the cheapest base plan that comes with Fox Desportes is Elite. However, you can get Fox Desportes with Access or Core if you purchase the Espanol Pack add-on. With it you get Fox Desportes, Baby TV, beIN Sports en Español, CINE SONY, CNN Español, Discovery en Español, Discovery Familia, FOX Life, Nat Geo Mundo and Universo.

PlayStation Vue Supported Devices

PlayStation Vue has apps for just about every TV device except Xbox consoles.

  • TV streaming media players: Apple TV (4th gen and up), Android TV (all gens), Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick (all gens), Chromecast (1st gen and up) and Roku (firmware 8.0 and up).

PlayStation Vue Simultaneous Streams

One of the most notable PlayStation Vue features is its flexible account sharing policy. The simultaneous stream limit is five devices. In other words, you can use one PlayStation Vue account to stream to five different screens at once.

This flexibility won’t cost you anything extra, but there’s a slight catch to consider: there are no add-ons that you can buy that will increase the simultaneous stream limit past five devices.

PlayStation Vue DVR

All PlayStation Vue users get unlimited DVRs. That means that you can record as much TV content as you want. There are some other limits to consider, though. For example, you can’t record any live local shows in your home area. Also, all recordings expire after 28 days.

PlayStation Vue On-Demand Library

Like most live TV streaming services, PlayStation Vue has some on-demand content. Many of the titles that you can watch on-demand are recently aired TV shows. However, there are some movies that you can watch as well.
