What are the Disney+ Plans and Pricing?
While Disney plans to make its streaming service a truly global operation, it set its initial launch in five countries. The streaming service launched in the United States, Canada and The Netherlands on November 12, 2019 and in Australia and New Zealand one week later. Further expansion in Europe occurred throughout 2020.
Plans and Pricing in the United States
Disney+ Bundle $13.99/ Year | ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+. Bundle and save 25%. Amazing value for the whole family. 3 simultaneous streams | SIGN UP |
Disney+ Standalone $7.99/ month | 7,000+ TV episodes 500+ films Disney+ Originals 3 simultaneous streams | SIGN UP |
Disney+ Bundle (No Ads) $19.90/ month | Watch ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+. Bundle and save 25%. Amazing value for the whole family. 3 simultaneous streams | SIGN UP |
The standard Disney+ subscription plan comes at a very affordable price. For its low entry bar, you get everything in the content library as well as all of the features Disney+ offers. There are no extra fees and no need to upgrade to get features like simultaneous streaming or 4K resolution content. Getting the annual subscription will save you some money over the monthly plans.

Another option is a bundle of streaming services owned by The Walt Disney Company — Disney+, ESPN+ and the ad-supported version of Hulu. If you subscribed to each service separately, you’d end up paying a lot more. With the ad-supported version of Hulu, the bundle comes at a discounted price. However, getting rid of the ads in Hulu’s on-demand content comes with an additional premium.
Plans and Pricing Elsewhere
As Disney+ expanded into other countries, it priced its service just as competitively. Generally speaking, the price was consistent with the American price once adjusted for the exchange rates. That changed as Disney expanded into India and Latin America under the Hotstar brand.
Is there a Free Trial for Disney+?

Disney+ launched with the same kind of free 7-day trial that other streaming services offer. But the company changed plans in mid-2020 and dropped its free plans. One reason for the change was the pre-release of its hit film Mulan on the streaming service. No doubt, the other reason is how little trouble Disney+ has had gaining subscribers.
How Do You Renew Your Subscription?
Your subscription will automatically renew at whatever price the Disney+ plans are. On a month-to-month plan, you’ll get hit with any price increases as soon as the next month rolls around. That’s an extra benefit of the annual plan — you lock in today’s rate for twelve months.
