Will Disney+ (Disney Plus) come to the Netherlands? Actually…it already did, with some limitations. If you’re hoping to watch Disney+ in the Netherlands, we’ve got some good news for you.
When Will Disney Plus Come to the Netherlands? September 12!
Disney+ has been available in the Netherlands since September 12. The company offered a soft launch free trial to future subscribers in the Netherlands 2 months before the official launch of the service. However, the free trial launch was limited. It did not include any of Disney’s original content planned for the service.
The full version of Disney+ will come to the Netherlands on November 12. That’s the same day Disney plans to launch the service in the US and Canada. If you’re already using Disney+ in the Netherlands, you’ll find all of the original content available starting on that day.
What Titles Will Be Available in the Netherlands at Launch?

If you’ve already been enjoying Disney+ in the Netherlands, this should be old news to you. Disney+ comes loaded with over 600 titles, which includes Disney-owned properties from Pixar, Marvel, and National Geographic, among many others. The service also offers TV shows, mini-series, and documentaries, and other content that Disney owns, and not just its classic movies.
The only thing Netherlands residents currently lack is the original content, which will be available starting November 12.
If you have some free time to peruse the entire launch list, Disney offers a 3+ hours video preview of everything launching with its new service.
Those in the Netherlands already enjoying the classic and older-released content, however, may be looking forward to the originals. Disney has 50+ original titles planned for the first 12 months alone. Several highly-anticipated titles will be available in the Netherlands on November 12, to include:
The Mandalorian (available at launch)
Perhaps the most anticipated original title, Disney is taking full advantage of its Star Wars ownership through this live-action series set in the Star Wars universe.
SparkShorts (available at launch)
Disney is giving new animators a chance to show their work through its SparkShots TV series.
Lady and the Tramp (available at launch)
Disney furthers its mission to remake its classic animations library into live-action versions, this time with its Lady and the Tramp doggie love story.

- TV streaming media players: Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast
- Smart TVs: Android TV, Roku TV
- Game consoles: Xbox One
- Mobile devices and tablets: Android, iOS, and iPadOS
- Desktop browsers: Most popular Mac and PC browsers
Can I Share My Disney Plus Account?
Disney will allow you to stream its service on 4 devices at once. You can also download its movies and TV shows for offline viewing on up to 10 separate devices.
Will the Netherlands Have Exclusive Disney Plus Content?
Disney states that some content may not be available in all regions. That said, you’ll likely have complete or mostly complete access to all older properties, while all originals will be available worldwide. Those in the Netherlands likely won’t have exclusive content just for Netherlands viewers, however.
