Singing and acting superstar Jennifer Lopez will headline the DirecTV Now Super Saturday Night concert the night before Super Bowl LII. If you can’t make it to Minneapolis (or can’t afford the tickets) you can stream the concert live with a DirecTV Now subscription.
AT&T owns the DirecTV satellite service and the DirecTV Now streaming service as well as the U-verse cable system. It plans to integrate all of its TV services into this year’s event. “We’re taking it into living rooms and mobile devices across America for the first time ever,” AT&T executive Valerie Vargas said in the company’s press release
The concert will air on AT&T’s in-house Audience channel. It is available to DirecTV satellite subscribers, U-verse cable subscribers and DirecTV Now streaming subscribers.
J.Lo will perform her past hits as well as new songs like her latest hit single “Amor, Amor, Amor” from her upcoming Spanish and English language albums.
“Jennifer’s talent and accomplishments make her the perfect entertainer to star in this year’s Super Saturday Night,” AT&T’s Vargas added.
Lopez may also use the high profile event to raise awareness of the on-going struggles in her family’s native home of Puerto Rico. She has donated millions to hurricane relief efforts. With former husband Marc Anthony, Lopez has raised tens of millions more through their charity Somos Una Voz.
The DirecTV Now Super Saturday Night concert will air live from The Armory in downtown Minneapolis on February 3.
