YouTube TV offers an excellent service at a great price, but there’s a chance its channel lineup or even lack of Amazon Fire TV support makes it a no-go for you. If that’s the case, you may be wondering how to cancel your YouTube TV subscription. This short guide will show you how to cancel YouTube TV.
How to Cancel Your YouTube TV Subscription
You can easily cancel your YouTube subscription from any device, but we recommend doing it from a desktop or laptop computer, as apps sometimes offer a limited view of your subscription settings.
1. Go to your settings (top right corner profile pic) and click “Settings”

2. Under “YouTube TV” select “Deactivate account”

3. Optional: Select a “pause” period for your account instead of canceling

4. To fully cancel, select “CANCEL MEMBERSHIP” at the bottom

5. Finally, select a reason for cancellation

Can I restart my YouTube TV subscription later?
YouTube TV lets you pause your account for up to 24 months, or cancel completely. If you chose to pause, you won’t be charged during the pause period and can choose to unpause at any point. If you choose to cancel, you will need to reactivate your account, but you can finish out the month you’ve already paid for.
Are there are any good YouTube TV alternatives?
YouTube TV has a fairly extensive channel package, but it may lack some of the channels that you want or need most. PlayStation Vue is a close alternative, but you may want to consider other similar skinny bundle internet TV services, such as fuboTV, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, Philo, AT&T WatchTV, or AT&T TV Now.
