In this quick review, we’ll discuss what type of content you can expect, the apps you can use to watch the AT&T TV Now on-demand library, and more.
How Much Content is Available On-Demand From AT&T TV Now?
According to AT&T TV Now, there are more than 40,000 titles, including episodes of TV show and movies, available on AT&T TV Now. While there’s no way for us to confirm this claim, we will say that there is certainly a huge selection of on-demand content on the service, and it’s easy to find something to watch.
By simply using the search tab in the app or on the AT&T TV Now website, you can enter the name of a show or a movie to see what your VOD streaming options are. You can also select networks like FX and AMC directly, and see what on-demand content is available to you.
Like most other streaming TV services, the amount of content available on AT&T TV Now will fluctuate because of syndication agreements and content expiration dates. Overall, though, we’d say it definitely has one of the most sizeable on-demand libraries – second only to Hulu With Live TV.
What Kind of Content Can I Expect From the AT&T TV Now On-Demand Library?
AT&T TV Now has a wide selection of both TV shows and movies. As far as TV shows go, the number of episodes you get will vary wildly based on the show, and the network on which the show is broadcast.
For example, you can currently stream all 20 episodes of the first season of the CBS sitcom/drama The Rookie, but only a handful of NCIS episodes are available to stream, spread across multiple seasons.
The selection of movies is a bit more limited, but you can still watch some top movies like 50 Shades of Grey on USA, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on SYFY, and Captain America: Civil War on TBS.
The amount of content you get will also depend on how many channels you have access to. If you subscribe to a more expensive package of channels, you’ll get access to a larger number of networks, and more on-demand content.
Does AT&T TV Now On-Demand Content Have Commercials?
Yes. We found that AT&T TV Now would play commercials about every 15 minutes while you watched. This can vary somewhat, based on the channel providing the on-demand content.
